About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Photography (DOP) who can lead the visual direction and execution of Pristine’s photography and video content.

The DOP will be responsible for planning and executing high-quality visual content for social media, digital campaigns, product launches, advertisements, and other brand communications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, composition, camera operation, and visual storytelling.

You will work closely with the marketing, creative, and content teams to transform campaign ideas into visually engaging content that reflects Pristine’s brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute photography and video shoots for products, campaigns, social media, and promotional content.
  • Develop the visual style, mood, composition, and overall look of each production.
  • Operate professional cameras and other photography/videography equipment.
  • Set up and manage lighting, camera angles, framing, and composition.
  • Create visually appealing product photography and video content for e-commerce and digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand campaign objectives and translate them into visual concepts.
  • Lead and coordinate photoshoots, including planning locations, equipment, lighting, props, and other production requirements.
  • Guide models, talent, and other team members during shoots when required.
  • Ensure consistency in visual quality and brand identity across all content.
  • Review footage and photographs to ensure technical and creative quality.
  • Collaborate with editors and content creators during the post-production process.
  • Stay updated with current photography, videography, cinematography, and social media content trends.
  • Maintain and properly handle cameras, lighting equipment, lenses, and other production equipment.
  • Manage multiple shoots and deliverables while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background in Film, Media, Photography, Visual Arts, Communication, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in photography, videography, cinematography, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience working on commercial, product, lifestyle, fashion, or social media content.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating photography and videography skills.
  • Good understanding of lighting, composition, framing, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience working in a professional production or creative environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a creative team.
  • Ability to manage shoots from planning through execution.
  • Willingness to work on-location and accommodate shoot schedules when required.

Salary

BDT 8,000 – 10,000 per month
Working Days: Saturday – Thursday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Location: Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka
Employment Type: Full-Time
